Evidence-Based Therapy for Real, Lasting Change

As a neuropsychologist, I work with adults who want more than insight alone, they want real, measurable improvement in how they feel, think, and function day-to-day. Many of my patients are high-functioning, driven individuals who feel stuck despite understanding their patterns, or who struggle with symptoms that affect both mind and body. My work is especially well suited for those seeking lifestyle improvement and optimization in demanding personal and professional roles, as well as individuals struggling with generalized anxiety, health-related anxiety, functional neurological disorders (such as psychogenic non-epileptic seizures), stress-related physical symptoms, and post-traumatic stress.

My approach integrates a strong foundation in neuroscience and neuropsychology, with my experience providing trauma-focused care. Treatment is informed by how the brain and nervous system adapt to life experiences, particularly early or repeated stressors, and how these adaptations shape emotional responses, physical symptoms, and behavior over time. I take a whole-person, mind-body approach rooted in science, addressing both psychological and physiological contributors to distress, including sleep, nutrition, exercise, stress regulation, and nervous system functioning. This framework helps patients understand not only what they are experiencing, but why.

Therapy is direct, collaborative, and goal-oriented. Sessions focus on building a clear, practical understanding of how unhelpful patterns developed, why they persist, and how to change them. Insight is paired with skill-building and concrete strategies that translate into meaningful day-to-day improvement. My goal is to help patients feel more in control, better aligned with their values, willing to confront avoidance, and equipped with the tools needed to build resilience, optimize performance, and support long-term well-being.

I have listed many of the evidence-based modalities I often utilize to support meaningful change; I incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address unhelpful patterns, build emotional regulation, and support values-driven action. Trauma-focused approaches such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE), and Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET) are used to safely process traumatic experiences, while psychodynamic principles help explore how early life experiences shape current functioning. Somatic-based approaches and Motivational Interviewing further support mind-body regulation, insight, and sustained engagement in treatment.

My self/private-pay rate is $200 per 50-minute session, with a limited number of sliding-scale slots available upon request based on financial need. I do not accept insurance although I am happy to provide a superbill upon request.

Couples Therapy

Many couples wait until patterns of disconnection, resentment, or emotional distance feel overwhelming before seeking help. I believe couples therapy can be most powerful when it is used proactively, as a space to deepen connection, improve communication, and reinforce a strong foundation before problems become entrenched.

My approach to couples therapy is grounded in attachment-based principles and informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy and Imago Relationship Therapy. At the core of this work is understanding how early attachment experiences shape how we give, seek, and respond to closeness in adult relationships. Therapy helps couples slow down reactive cycles, recognize unmet emotional needs beneath conflict, and rebuild emotional safety, trust, and responsiveness.

Rather than focusing on who is “right,” we focus on how each partner experiences the relationship and how to create a more secure emotional bond.In addition to deeper relational work, I integrate tools and strategies from the Gottman Method to provide couples with concrete, actionable skills they can use immediately. This includes improving communication during conflict, strengthening friendship and intimacy, managing differences more effectively, and building shared meaning. Sessions balance emotional depth with practical guidance, helping couples understand both why patterns developed and how to change them.

therapy is collaborative, supportive, and forward-focused. Whether you are navigating life transitions, recurring conflict, emotional distance, or simply want to invest in the long-term health of your relationship, my goal is to help you build a partnership that feels more connected, resilient, and mutually fulfilling; now and for the future.

My self/private-pay rate is $300 per 50-minute session, with a limited number of sliding-scale slots available upon request based on financial need. I do not accept insurance although I am happy to provide a superbill upon request.
